Media Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Media Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you would be responsible for developing and implementing strategic and creative media plans set in solid strategy tied back to our client’s business goals. Responsibilities:
  • Setting media strategy and creating media plans that include both traditional and non-traditional media outlets
  • Managing and mentoring Media Planners and/or Assistant Planners with planning, buying and reporting responsibilities
  • Overseeing optimization strategies and campaign performance success
  • Building quality agency and client relationships to become a trusted advisor
  • Lead and optimize processes to create efficiencies and maintain consistent work quality across team and account list.
  • Attending client meetings and presenting media plans, performance reports and other media related updates directly to clients
  • Evaluating media opportunities, prepare media POVs and case studies and stay current on how changes to the media landscape could impact client media plans
  • Providing consultative strategic direction to clients and agency team members as needed
  • Preparing audience estimates, budgets and analyzing campaign performance to inform optimization strategies
  • Preparing and updating media flowcharts and purchase authorizations
  • Interacting with outside vendors and external business partners regarding various facets of client media activity
  • Promoting positive working relationships within the media team, agency and vendor community
Requirements:
  • 5+ years media buying/planning experience
  • Computer Proficiency: Advanced
    • Skills of Excel is a plus (competency in formulas & functions, pivot tables, charts/data visualization, and conditional formatting)
  • Strong strategic skills
  • Very strong presentation skills
  • Proactive problem-solving ability
  • A good manager and developer of talent
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Hands-on Digital Media Planning and/or Buying experience a plus (Social, Search, or Programmatic)
  • Strong digital strategy acumen with knowledge & understanding of the programmatic landscape
